Plastic free biodegradable pots
Description
Environmentally friendly, plastic free biodegradable plant pots made from totally natural plant fibre obtained from the waste of annual crops such as rice husk. An excellent alternative to plastic pots.
Jekka has trialled these on the herb farm for the last year and believe this are the prefect plastic free pot for the home gardener.
Life expectancy is 5 years but will biodegrade within 9 to 18 months when cracked, or broken and put on the compost heap.
Throw on the compost heap after use or wash and reuse. An excellent alternative to plastic pots.

Available in two sizes:
- Pot sizes:
- 4 * 1 Ltr pots have a diameter of approximately 13cm across the top and height 10.5 cm
- 5 * 9 cm pots have a diameter of approximately 9cm across the top and height 8.5 cm
- Can last from 3-5 years if used above ground
- Sealed with vegetable varnish
- Ideal for organic gardeners
- Biodegradable in 9 – 18 months
