Small purple/white flowers. Small grey green oval leaves covered in fine hairs. Whole plants is aromatic. Culinary; the flowers and leaves are edible. The leaves are great with mushrooms.

Lesser Calamint can be seen at the herb farm in Jekka’s Herbetum and is available to buy as both herb plants and online as herb seeds.

Growing
• Indoor Sowing: In autumn or early spring, into prepared seed trays or pots, cover the seeds with perlite.
• Outdoor Sowing: In autumn or late spring into a prepared sunny site. Thin seedlings to 30cm apart.
