White star shaped flowers. Broad lanced shaped, green, garlic flavoured leaves. Culinary; the flowers and leaves are edible. Eat leaves before flowering, they make a very good pesto.

Ramsons can be seen at the herb farm in Jekka’s Herbetum and is available to buy as both herb plants and online as herb seeds.

Growing
• Indoor Sowing: Not suitable.
• Outdoor Sowing: In autumn, outside where they are to flower and cover lightly with soil. Germination will normally occur the following spring. Wild Garlic will self-seed readily once established.
